A Journey Inspiring trustworthy relationships

"The most important skills in our lives our relationship skills.
without them everything else breaks down"
 (Dr. Debra Peplar)

The Voices curriculum helps girls develop and maintain positive and healthy
girl-to-girl friendships. The program exposes females to the realities of relational aggression (bullying) and the influence of toxic media on self-image. It promotes strong decision making skills, healthy relationship and develops self-respect. Presentations are fun and interactive by engaging students with role plays, videos, personal stories, daily challenges, and small group work.

Voices is a 7.5 hour program (5 units at 90 min each) that meets provincial career and health goals. A grade 3 mentorship module is available to further solidify skill sets. Voices can be delivered as an afterschool program, summer program, or within the classroom to aid in making a smooth transition into middle school.

You don't see girls for who they are.  You see girls for what they wear, who they hang out with.  It's a package."

I'm not mad at you."

"Right then I knew she was mad at me. To survive in the social jungle, friends learn to doubt what they see and hear and instead search for a
second layer of real feeling beneath a false exterior, a
quality that comes to
dominate girls' interaction."
