Courage for Youth - youth safe from bullying, suicide, depression, eating disorders, poor self esteem, lonliness and toxic media influence

Children learn the best lessons when they're given a task and allowed to make their own choices (and fail) when the cost of failure is still small. Children's failures must be coupled with love and empathy from their parents and teachers."

Courage for Youth - youth safe from bullying, suicide, depression, eating disorders, poor self esteem, lonliness and toxic media influence

Youth are lacking the emotional and relational skills to build strong internal connections to themselves, to others and to the world. Students need to feel that adults care about them as individuals as well as about their academic achievement."

Love and Logic

A Journey Inspiring trustworthy relationships

The Love and Logic parenting method teaches parents how to raise self-confident, motivated children who are ready for the real world.  It empowers parents with practical skills to reduce behavior problems, set limits, encourage wise decision making and grow in their character.  Learn how to establish healthy control without anger, threats, nagging or power struggles.

Love and Logic is a complement to our youth programs by providing parents with the coaching tools and resources to help adults achieve respectful, enjoyable and healthy relationships with their children.   It can be delivered as 7 weekly sessions or in a flexible workshop format.

Some of the skills parents will learn are how to:

• Avoid un-winnable power-struggles and arguments

• Stay calm when kids do incredibly upsetting things

• Raise kids with character

• Set enforceable limits

• Avoid enabling and begin empowering

• Help  kids learn from mistakes rather than repeating them

• Raise kids who are family members rather than dictators

• How to manage kids and technology

• Become a positive, loving ally
